Biomagnet Therapy: Enhancing Well-Being and Circulation

Rose gold open cuff bracelet with magnetic elements.

Introduction to Magnetism:

Magnetism, first discovered in ancient Greece, continues to be a subject of ongoing research in science today. The phenomenon encompasses the effects of magnetic forces, the range of their fields, and the processes in which they are involved. A magnet is defined as a material or object that produces magnetic forces, capable of attracting or repelling other magnets, as well as pulling materials like iron, cobalt, and nickel. In the realm of magnet therapy, alternative approaches often utilize acupuncture magnets to enhance overall well-being and improve circulation. The space where these magnetic forces can be observed is known as the magnetic field.

Human Magnetic Field (HMF)

It is known that the human body acts as a natural biomagnet. Two key organs, the brain and heart, generate ion currents that produce a magnetic field around the body. Among these, the heart serves as the most powerful source of bio-magnetic energy. SQUID-based magnetometers can detect the heart’s magnetic field (HRMF) from a distance of 3 feet away. Remarkably, the strength of HRMF is 100 times greater than that of the brain’s magnetic field (BMF).

With advancements in technology, it has been observed that certain changes in the human magnetic field can occur, influenced by both inner and external factors. The inner modulation of this field is closely linked to various emotional states. Different emotions are encoded in the HRMF, creating distinct frequency (Hz) spectrums that resonate throughout the body and extend into the environment. These magnetic signals generated by the heart can significantly impact surrounding environments and individuals, a concept that can be enhanced through practices like acupuncture magnets and magnet therapy, which also aim to improve circulation.

Moreover, the heart’s magnetic field can be modulated by the magnetic fields of others (external factors). Research from the HeartMath Institute indicates that the nervous system functions like an antenna, attuned to and responsive to the magnetic fields produced by the hearts of other individuals. This intriguing phenomenon has been termed 'energetic communication.'

Magnetic Properties of Hemoglobin:

The other aspect of magnet influence on human health is examined through the biochemical body response, typically at the cellular level. Globally, the leading causes of death are strokes and heart attacks, which are often linked to high blood viscosity. The American Physical Society published a study titled 'Reducing Blood Viscosity with Magnetic Fields,' which found that blood exposed to a magnetic field (1.3 T) for approximately one minute can reduce viscosity by 20%-30%. After exposure, blood viscosity gradually returns to its original levels within a few hours. Magnet technologies can help maintain blood viscosity within normal ranges, hence their potential in physical therapy and prevention. Additionally, acupuncture magnets may aid in these therapeutic efforts by improving circulation.

Research has shown that the blood components responsible for oxygen transportation, particularly hemoglobin in red blood cells, possess magnetic properties. American chemists Linus Pauling and Charles D. Coryell discovered that hemoglobin reacts to magnetic fields when transporting oxygen due to its iron (Fe) content. Since hemoglobin contains 70% of the body's iron, it is more sensitive to magnetic fields than other cells. The presence of magnetic fields can enhance blood flow, which is essential for healing specific conditions. This type of therapy is particularly beneficial for alleviating painful ailments such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, fractures, chronic pain, fibromyalgia, headaches, and insomnia.

The International Journal of Biophysics published findings on the application of magnet therapy for wound healing, concluding that it accelerates the regeneration process for both diabetic and non-diabetic patients. Among other uses, magnet therapy can treat and prevent diabetic foot, a complex condition that arises from poor circulation, making the area more susceptible to infections and gangrene.

Magnetic Therapy

Magnetic therapy, which utilizes acupuncture magnets, is a treatment method aimed at enhancing overall well-being and addressing specific health conditions. Research into magnetism and its impact on health tends to follow two main avenues. The first focus is on the human magnetic field and how its fluctuations can affect health. This aspect of magnet therapy suggests that certain health issues arise from imbalances in the body's magnetic fields; therefore, restoring this balance may improve circulation and boost the individual's overall wellness.

What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is an ancient form of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), where pain and illness are viewed as indicators of bodily imbalance. This imbalance occurs when the emotional, mental, and physical aspects of life are not in harmony. The primary aim of acupuncture is to restore the body’s equilibrium.

Traditional acupuncturists describe this practice as a means to restore the natural energy (Qi) that circulates through the body, which is essential for overall health. Any disruption in this energy flow can lead to illness and pain. Additionally, acupuncture magnets can enhance this energy balance and may help improve circulation in the body.

Through millennia of practice, the Chinese have observed that stimulating certain acupuncture points can trigger the body's natural healing response. These points are interconnected with specific organs through meridians, or acupuncture paths, and correspond to various ailments. Notably, one particular ailment can be addressed through several different acupuncture points located in distinct areas of the body.

Currently, the most accepted explanation for acupuncture's effectiveness is the “neural hypothesis.” According to several theories, acupuncture points signify ends of sensory nerves on the body's surface. These nerves are interlinked, forming a network that spans the entire body. When an acupuncture point is stimulated, a nerve impulse travels to the central nervous system, which processes the signal and initiates a monitoring process of the corresponding organ. If the organ fails to respond adequately, the body triggers a repair process, striving to achieve a normal response to the nerve impulse.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has recognized 28 diseases, conditions, and symptoms for which acupuncture has been demonstrated, through controlled trials, to be an effective treatment. These include:

  • Morning sickness
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Depression (including depressive neurosis and depression following stroke)
  • Headache
  • Rheumatoid arthritis

Benefits of Acupuncture Magnets:

1. Pain relief: By stimulating acupuncture points, acupuncture magnets may help reduce pain and discomfort in various parts of the body.

2. Improved circulation: The magnetic properties of these magnets are thought to enhance blood flow and improve circulation.

3. Stress reduction: Some users report feeling more relaxed and less stressed after using magnet therapy with acupuncture magnets.

4. Enhanced well-being: Users may experience an overall sense of well-being and balance after using acupuncture magnets.

5. Non-invasive alternative: Acupuncture magnets provide a non-invasive alternative to traditional acupuncture treatments. Acupuncture is integrated into all our products to ensure their benefits.
